The BCM Jack Carr Mod 4 is a drop-in pistol grip for AR-15 and M4 rifles, fitting any standard AR-15/M4 lower receiver on the supplied mounting hardware.

The BCM x Jack Carr Mod 4 Pistol Grip is a collaboration between author Jack Carr and Bravo Company USA, and it carries the Crossed Tomahawks design. Underneath the artwork it is the full Mod 4: a reduced angle for improved ergonomics and trigger control, a new aggressive grip texture to maximise traction, an extended forward tang that closes the gap between the trigger guard and the grip, and a high-rise beavertail-style back strap that indexes the hand high on the receiver.
Like the standard Mod 4 it uses an open bottom to minimise weight, so there is no storage compartment in it. Manufactured in the USA from high-quality impact-resistant polymers, with mounting hardware for Mil-Spec lower receivers included.
Fits standard AR-15/M4-pattern lower receivers as a drop-in replacement for the factory pistol grip, including UK straight-pull AR-15 builds — grip geometry does the same work whether the rifle cycles itself or you cycle it by hand. Mounting hardware for Mil-Spec lower receivers is included. Watch the safety selector detent and spring that sit in the receiver under the old grip when you lift it clear; work over a tray and it is a five-minute job. The plain version of the same grip is the Gunfighter Mod 4.

The shape, texture and hardware are the Mod 4 throughout. What the Jack Carr edition adds is the Crossed Tomahawks design, produced as a collaboration between Jack Carr and Bravo Company USA. The only thing to watch is the safety selector detent and spring under the old grip, which are easy to lose.
No. Like the standard Mod 4 it uses an open bottom to minimise weight, so there is no compartment and no cap. If you want storage, the <a href="/products/bcm-gunfighter-mod-3-pistol-grip">Gunfighter Mod 3</a> has a hinged trap door with a water-resistant gasket.
Bravo Company USA describes it as a new aggressive grip texture to maximise traction, which is a step up from the seamless texture used on the earlier Mods. In practice it holds better in gloves and in the wet, at the cost of being less kind to bare skin over a long day. That trade is the point of it.
