The EOTech HHS UNITY I in Tan, part number HHS1 FTCU-TAN, is a complete holographic sight system: an EXPS3-0 holographic weapon sight, a G33 3x magnifier and the UNITY Tactical FAST FTC Omni flip-to-centre mount with FAST Optic Riser.
Buying the three pieces separately and hoping they line up is a familiar way to waste money. This is the matched set, at one raised height, ready to bolt to a flat-top.
The EXPS3-0 projects the 68 MOA ring with a 1 MOA dot and offers 20 daylight brightness settings plus ten more for Gen I to III+ night vision, running on one CR123 cell for 1,000 continuous hours at nominal setting 12. The G33 sits behind it on the FTC Omni mount and swings out of the way to the side when it is not wanted. Assembled, the system weighs 26.3 oz (745.6 g) and measures 8.35 x 2.65 x 3.6in, in a tan finish, with the optical centreline 2.26in above the rail.
It suits shooters who want a close-range holographic picture that can become a 3x picture in one movement, without unbolting anything. Be honest about the height, though: 2.26in is a raised, heads-up centreline, not an absolute co-witness, so iron sights will not sit in the middle of the window. That raised position is what makes the magnifier and the mount work together, so it is a choice, not an accident.
Any MIL-STD-1913 flat-top receiver rail with enough length for the sight and the magnifier behind it. The same system in black is the HHS UNITY I in Black, and if you would rather have the EXPS3-0 and G33 on EOTech's own mounts, that combination is sold as the HHS VIII in Tan. The rest of the range is in Holographic Sights.
