This is the EOTech package that pairs the first focal plane Vudu 4-12x36 rifle scope, carrying the illuminated MR5 reticle in MRAD, with an EOTech EFLX red dot sight.
A 4-12x scope is the wrong tool for a target at twenty paces, and that is precisely the hole the second sight in this box exists to fill.
EOTech builds the Vudu in Japan and gives it 0.1 MRAD clicks with 20 MRAD of elevation travel and 13 MRAD of windage, illumination from a CR2032 cell rated at roughly 300 hours, a length of 7.1 in (180.3 mm) and a weight of 16.9 oz (479 g) with the battery and mount fitted. The MR5 is a first focal plane reticle, so its holds read correctly at 4x and at 12x alike.
The EFLX supplied alongside it is EOTech's compact reflex sight, giving an unmagnified aiming point for anything too close or too fast for the scope. One honest caveat: EOTech does not publish the dot size or the mount supplied in this package on its own product page, so we do not quote them here rather than guess. The scope's own figures above are the manufacturer's.
It is a stalking, target and practical rifle scope, at home on a bolt action or an AR-pattern rifle with rail enough for the scope and the dot together. If you already have a close-range answer on the rifle, the Vudu 4-12x36 MR5 on its own is the same scope without the package; if you prefer the other reticle, take the MD5 MRAD package.
