The Holosun HE507COMP in green, part number HE507COMP-GR, is a 1x open-emitter competition pistol sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint, with a 1.1 x 0.87 in window and the Competition Reticle System.
Size the reticle to the stage rather than the other way round: a 2 MOA green dot for a tight standard, or an 8, 20 or 32 MOA circle when the targets are close and the transitions matter more than the group.
The window is the biggest part of the argument — at 1.1 x 0.87 in it takes up very little of your view of the target, so the dot arrives in the glass instead of you searching the glass for the dot. The housing is 7075-T6 aluminium with a hard anodised black finish, rated IP67 and tested to 5000G, measuring 1.8 x 1.3 x 1.3 in and weighing 1.7 oz.
A 540nm green LED tends to hold up against bright outdoor backgrounds, which is why green is a common choice for daylight competition. Adjustment is 1 MOA per click with 30 MOA each way, there are 8 daylight brightness settings and 4 night-vision levels, and Lock Mode stops a knock changing them mid-stage. The CR1632 lives in a side tray rated to 50,000 hours at setting 6, so cells change without unmounting. Note it has no solar panel: this model runs on the battery alone.
It goes on any slide cut for the Trijicon RMR, and on optics-ready pistols supplied with an RMR-pattern adapter plate — including RMR-pattern mounts on pistol-calibre carbines. In the same family, the HE507C X2 is the standard-window green sight with Solar Failsafe and the HE507 ProMax is the larger-window model. Browse all RMR footprint red dot sights.
