The Magpul MOE K2 XL is an oversized near-vertical pistol grip for AR-15 and M4 pattern lower receivers, fitting on the existing grip screw.

The Magpul MOE K2 XL (MAG1165) answers a genuine gap in the market: shooters with larger hands who find standard AR grips leave their fingers cramped and their trigger finger over-inserted. The K2 XL enlarges the proven K2 profile in girth and back-strap depth while keeping the near-vertical grip angle that modern stock-collapsed, optic-forward carbine shooting demands.
That steeper angle puts the wrist in a stronger, more neutral position when the rifle is mounted square to the chest, improving trigger-finger placement and recoil control. Aggressive TSP texture on all contact faces locks the hand in place, wet or dry. If you have ever felt a standard grip disappear inside your hand, this is the fix.

The XL keeps the near-vertical K2 grip angle but on an oversized frame, so there's more material to fill a large hand. If a standard AR grip leaves your fingers wrapping too far round or your palm unsupported, this is the fix. Shooters with average or small hands will usually prefer the standard size.
A steeper angle suits a squared-up, arms-forward stance where the wrist sits straighter behind the trigger. It tends to feel more natural on a short carbine held high and close, and less so on a long, precision-style setup shot from prone. The grip carries an aggressive full-wrap texture so it stays put with wet or gloved hands.
