The Magpul MOE RL is a rubber-overmoulded mil-spec carbine stock for AR-15 and M4 rifles, fitting any Mil-Spec-diameter receiver extension.

The Magpul MOE RL Carbine Stock (MAG1440) wraps the cheek weld surface in soft rubber overmould, turning the hardest contact point on a rifle into the most comfortable. Long strings, heavy calibres and cold-weather shooting all become noticeably more pleasant when your cheekbone rests on rubber rather than bare polymer — and the added friction keeps your face indexed in exactly the same place, mount after mount.
The no-slip rubber buttpad anchors the stock in the shoulder pocket even over slick outerwear, while the reinforced polymer chassis, shielded release lever and Mil-Spec fit deliver everything the MOE line is trusted for.
Fits AR-15/M4 rifles with a Mil-Spec-diameter carbine receiver extension (buffer tube). Commercial tubes are a larger diameter and will not take it, so confirm which you have before ordering. Installation is a tool-free slide-on swap in under a minute.

The RL is the rubber-overmoulded version of the MOE carbine stock, with a soft cheek weld surface and buttpad moulded onto the body. That gives you more grip against the shoulder and a kinder cheek contact than bare polymer, which is noticeable on a rifle you shoot for long strings. Underneath it's the same simple carbine stock layout.
The overmoulded buttpad gives a little more cushioning and, more usefully, stops the stock sliding on clothing when you mount the rifle. It's a comfort and grip improvement rather than a recoil pad in the shotgun sense. The rubber also quietens the stock against gear and hard surfaces.
Black, Flat Dark Earth and Olive Drab Green are available.
