The Magpul MOE SL-S is a mil-spec collapsible carbine stock with enclosed storage for AR-15 and M4 rifles, fitting any Mil-Spec-diameter receiver extension.

The Magpul MOE SL-S Carbine Stock (MAG653) answers the question the SL family raised: can a slim stock still carry your essentials? The SL-S packages an enclosed internal storage compartment — sized for optic batteries and small spares — inside the same fast-handling silhouette, with an angled rubber buttpad for quick shoulder mounts and ambidextrous QD sling sockets rigged forward for tight two-point carry.
The cheek weld is full and repeatable, the release lever is shielded from accidental operation, and the whole stock is moulded from Magpul's reinforced polymer. It is the stock for shooters who want SL speed without giving up the self-contained-rifle concept.
Fits AR-15/M4 rifles with a Mil-Spec-diameter carbine receiver extension (buffer tube). Commercial-diameter tubes are larger and will not take it, so check your tube specification before ordering. It is a tool-free slide-on fit — load the compartment, rig your sling, done.

The S is for storage: this version carries an enclosed internal compartment in the body of the stock, which the plain MOE SL doesn't have. The compartment is closed rather than open, so contents stay put when the rifle is carried muzzle down. It's the reason for the small step up in bulk over the standard SL.
It has ambidextrous QD sockets built in, so a push-button QD swivel clips straight into either side depending on which shoulder you shoot from. That saves adding a separate sling mount at the rear. Any industry-standard QD sling swivel will engage the sockets.
Black, Flat Dark Earth, Olive Drab Green and Stealth Gray are offered. Choose the <a href="/products/magpul-moe-sl-carbine-ar-15-stock-mil-spec">MOE SL</a> if you want the slimmest version and don't need onboard storage, or the SL-S if you'd rather carry a few small items in the stock.
