The Magpul MOE TR is an A-frame mil-spec carbine stock for AR-15 and M4 rifles, fitting any Mil-Spec-diameter receiver extension.

The Magpul MOE TR Carbine Stock (MAG1444) uses a distinctive A-frame triangular profile that does two jobs at once: it stiffens the whole stock structure against flex, and it presents a broad, angled cheek weld surface that guides your face to the same position every mount. The geometry is the feature — stability and consistency without a single moving part to add cost or weight.
Everything else is trusted MOE DNA: reinforced polymer construction, a rubber buttpad for positive shoulder contact, a shielded adjustment lever and clean sling integration. For shooters who want a noticeably steadier platform than a standard carbine stock without paying friction-lock prices, the TR hits the sweet spot.
Fits AR-15/M4 pattern rifles with a Mil-Spec-diameter carbine receiver extension (buffer tube). Commercial tubes are slightly larger and will not take it, so check the specification of yours before ordering — if the rifle came assembled and the tube is not marked, measure it or ask us. Fitting is the usual tool-free slide-on installation.

The TR uses a rigid A-frame shape rather than an open skeletal or slab-sided body, which is what gives the stock its stiffness. In practice that means less flex when you load the stock into the shoulder and a solid feel from a fairly light polymer stock. The closed shape also gives fewer places for a sling or webbing to catch.
It's a carbine stock, so length of pull adjusts along the buffer tube in the normal way using the release latch. There's no cheek riser on this one; the comb is fixed, which is part of why it stays simple and rigid. If you need to raise your eye for a scope, look at a riser-equipped stock instead.
Black, Flat Dark Earth and Olive Drab Green are offered. Within the MOE family the choice mostly comes down to whether you want storage, a riser, rubber overmould or plain rigidity, and the TR is the rigid, no-extras option.
