The Magpul MS3 GEN2 is a convertible one-point / two-point rifle sling that attaches with Magpul Paraclip hooks to sling loops and MS-series mounts.

The Magpul MS3 GEN2 (MAG514) is the do-everything member of the Magpul sling family. Its Paraclip attachment hooks to sling loops, plates and mounts that ordinary swivels cannot reach, and converting between two-point stability and one-point speed takes seconds. GEN2 hardware is lower-profile and tougher than the original, with a snag-resistant design that will not print or hang up on kit.
The adjuster runs smoothly through dense custom-woven nylon, so tightening the rifle to your torso or freeing it to swing happens one-handed and silently. For shooters who move — through cover, around vehicles, between positions — the MS3's ability to change carry style on the fly is the feature you didn't know you were missing.
The Paraclip attaches directly to sling loops, end plates and rail-mounted sling points — no QD sockets required. If your rifle is set up with QD sockets instead, adapters are available to run the Paraclip on that hardware. Rig it once, then convert between carry styles without touching the attachment points.

The MS3 GEN2 uses Magpul Paraclip hooks, so it clips onto sling loops and MS-series sling mounts rather than needing a QD socket. If your rifle is set up with QD sockets, adapters are available to run the Paraclip on that hardware. It runs as either a one-point or a two-point sling and you swap between the two by unclipping one end, so a single sling covers both roles. Two-point mode is steadier for carrying and shooting from position; one-point lets the rifle hang clear when you need your hands free. It is the same MAG514 sling either way, so nothing extra is needed to change over.
The Paraclip is a spring-loaded hook that grabs a loop or mount, so it works on plain sling loops that a push-button QD swivel cannot use. A QD-socket sling such as one running a <a href="/products/magpul-qdm-quick-disconnect-sling-swivel-mag543">Magpul QDM swivel</a> needs a purpose-made socket in the stock or rail. If your rifle mixes both types of attachment point, the Paraclip plus an adapter is the more flexible route.
