The Magpul SGA is a fixed shotgun stock for Remington 870 12-gauge shotguns, replacing the factory stock on standard stock hardware.

The Magpul SGA Stock for Remington 870 (MAG460) rebuilds the 870's rear end around fit and control. Spacer-based length-of-pull adjustment lets you match the stock to your frame and clothing — critical on a shotgun, where a stock even an inch (25 mm) too long slows the mount and amplifies recoil — while the recoil-absorbing buttpad soaks up heavy loads and slugs.
The near-vertical grip geometry improves trigger-finger mechanics and keeps the wrist neutral on a low-mounted gun. Moulded from reinforced polymer, compatible with optional cheek risers for optic use and equipped for sling mounting, the SGA is the definitive furniture upgrade for working 870s.

It keeps the traditional shotgun stock shape rather than switching to a pistol grip, so your mount and cheek weld stay familiar. What it adds is a length of pull that you can set with spacers, so the gun fits you rather than the other way round. A cushioned buttpad also helps with the recoil of full-power 12 gauge loads.
Length of pull is changed by adding or removing spacers behind the buttpad, which is a simple job with ordinary hand tools. Set it so that when the gun is mounted the comb sits under your cheekbone without you stretching for the trigger. Try it in the clothing you actually shoot in, as a heavy jacket effectively shortens the pull you need.
