The Primary Arms SLx 3X MicroPrism in this listing is part number 710037: a fixed 3x prism scope with the ACSS Raptor 5.56/.308 Yard reticle etched into the glass and illuminated in green.
The reticle is cut into the glass, not projected onto it. An eye with astigmatism sees an etched reticle through the same corrected optical path as the target, which is why a prism scope stays sharp where a red dot smears.
The body is 2.95 in (75 mm) long over a 23 mm objective and weighs 7.95 oz, with a 7.4 mm exit pupil and 2.70 in of eye relief. Turrets are exposed, low-profile and tool-adjustable at 1/4 MOA per click, with 80 MOA of travel in elevation and 80 MOA in windage, and the field of view is 38 ft at 100 yards (12.7 m at 100 m). A ruggedised mount is supplied, and the optic uses the Primary Arms MicroPrism and Trijicon Mini-ACOG mounting pattern.
The ACSS Raptor holds bullet drop marks, ranging, wind holds and a centre chevron, laid out in yards and calibrated for 5.56 and .308. Illumination runs to 13 settings, three of them night-vision compatible, from a CR2032 cell, and AutoLive kills the illumination when the rifle sits still and brings it back the moment it moves. Because the reticle is etched it stays fully usable with the illumination off or the cell flat. Green is the colour choice worth making under British overcast and against foliage, since the eye is most sensitive there.
It uses the Primary Arms MicroPrism and Trijicon Mini-ACOG mounting pattern and is supplied with a ruggedised mount, so a MIL-STD-1913 flat-top receiver needs nothing else.
