This Radian Weapons combo pairs the weight-trimmed Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle with the Talon 45/90 ambidextrous safety selector — the two most-touched controls on the rifle, both made genuinely ambidextrous, at a combined saving over buying separately. The Raptor-LT charges from either side with reduced mass; the Talon gives a selectable 45°/90° throw operable with either hand.
On a UK straight-pull AR-15 that pairing is exactly the right one. The rifle is cycled by hand for every shot, so the charging handle is the control you work most on the gun, and the safety is the one your thumb has to find again on every return to the grip. Dual charging levers and a two-sided short-throw safety mean neither operation depends on which hand is free.
Both parts fit Mil-Spec AR-15/M4 rifles: the Raptor-LT drops into any Mil-Spec upper receiver with no tools, and the Talon installs into a lower cut to standard safety selector dimensions like a normal selector, using the detent and spring already fitted. The Raptor-LT is a weight-trimmed ambidextrous charging handle with a lever on each side, so the action can be worked from either side with a blade, a palm or a full grasp. The Talon 45/90 is an ambidextrous safety selector with a lever on both sides and a throw you can set to 45 or 90 degrees. Between them they cover the two controls your hands touch most — and on a straight-pull, where you cycle the action by hand on every shot, that is exactly where the gain is.
The <a href="/products/radian-raptor-talon-combo-ar-15">standard Raptor and Talon combo</a> pairs the full-lever Raptor charging handle with the same selector and is offered in Black, OD Green and Radian Grey. This kit substitutes the lighter Raptor-LT and is supplied in black. The charging handle is a drop-in swap needing no tools at all. The selector is ordinary fitting work rather than gunsmithing — the old one comes out, the Talon goes in on the existing detent and spring, and the levers attach with the supplied hardware. Because one of the two parts is the safety, verify safety function in both throw settings before live fire.
