The Reptilia ROF-SAR is a red dot adapter for the Trijicon RMR and SRO, described by Reptilia as a drop-in upgrade for 30mm optics.
One optic footprint, one tube diameter. The ROF-SAR adds a miniature red dot to the scope you already run.
Machined from 7075 aluminium and Type III hardcoat anodised, at 36 g (1.3 oz). Reptilia specify it for 30mm scope tubes with an objective diameter of 1.3in (33mm) or less, so the fit is decided by the scope, not by the rifle.
Two sighting solutions, one rifle. The magnified optic keeps the zero you set for distance; the dot is zeroed separately for close work and stays that way. On a UK straight-pull AR-15 that means changing where you look rather than changing optics. Made in the USA.

The ROF-SAR replaces your mount's ring cap entirely, which is what lets it carry the dot low over the bore. The <a href="/products/reptilia-rof-90-30mm-trijicon-rmr-sro">30mm ROF-90</a> instead sits on top of the ring cap and holds the dot at 12 o'clock, and the <a href="/products/reptilia-rof-45-30mm-trijicon-rmr-sro">30mm ROF-45</a> holds it at 45 degrees so you roll the rifle to find it. All three take the same optic footprint and the same 30mm ring diameter, so the decision is where you want the dot rather than what will fit.
