The SIG Sauer TANGO-MSR 1-8x24 is a low-power variable rifle scope on a 30 mm tube, with the illuminated MSR BDC8 reticle in the second focal plane and an ALPHA-MSR cantilever mount supplied with it.

SIG's own listing for this part gives 0.5 MOA capped turrets and a mount height of 1.535in, and the reticle illumination runs from a CR2032 cell. The scope is 10.5 in (267 mm) long and weighs 18.5 oz (525 g), in black.
Eight times magnification at the top end is the reason to take this over the 1-6x: it is enough to identify and place a shot at 300 yards, while the bottom of the range stays usable with both eyes open. One honest note — SIG's current riflescope range lists the shorter TANGO-MSR Compact 1-8x24 rather than this full-size model, so treat this as a run-out part.
The cantilever mount clamps to a Picatinny rail and sets the scope forward over the receiver of an AR-pattern or straight-pull rifle.
