The Streamlight TLR-2 HL G, part number 69265, is a full-size rail-mounted weapon light in black with an integrated daylight-visible green aiming laser.
The mode selector is what makes it worth the size: white light alone, laser alone, or both together, chosen on the light rather than negotiated through a switch sequence.
White output is 1000 lumens and 20,000 candela for a 283-metre beam. The laser runs at 510-530 nm, Class 3R, below 5 mW. Two CR123A lithium cells are included, giving 1.5 hours on the light alone, 1.25 hours with light and laser together, and up to 17 hours on the laser by itself. The body is 6000-series aluminium with a black anodised finish, rated IPX4.
It attaches tool-free with the supplied rail locating keys, and an ambidextrous paddle gives momentary and constant-on operation from either side, with a user-programmable strobe. Two things to weigh: at 3.39 in and 4.88 oz (138.4 g) this is a full-size unit that suits a full-size host, and IPX4 is splash resistance rather than an immersion rating.
It fits GLOCK-style rails, MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny, Beretta 90two, S&W SW99 and TSW, and SIG Sauer P320, using the rail locating keys supplied in the box. For a red laser instead of green the TLR-2 HL is the same light, the TLR-2 G gives 300 lumens with a green laser, and for a compact light with no laser see the TLR-7 X USB.
