The Streamlight TLR-4 G, part number 69245, is a compact rail-mounted pistol light with a daylight-visible green aiming laser, producing 170 lumens and 3,200 candela for a 113 metre beam.
Green is the colour the eye picks up fastest. On a bright day a green laser is still there when a red one has washed out of sight.
The body is engineering polymer with an anodised aluminium facecap and a BOROFLOAT glass lens, 2.73 in (6.93 cm) long and 2.81 oz (79.7 g), rated IPX4 against water. It runs on a single 3 V CR2 lithium cell, supplied in the box along with the rail locating keys, and mounts with a quick rail clamp. The laser is rated Class 3R at 510-530 nm with an output below 5 mW.
A selector gives white light alone, laser alone or both together, and the ambidextrous rear switch works momentary or steady. Runtime is 1.75 hours on the LED, 1.25 hours running light and laser together, and 4 hours on the laser by itself. At 170 lumens this is a compact light rather than a searchlight, so it earns its place on a small pistol where size and weight are the constraint rather than raw output.
It mounts to compact and subcompact railed pistols with the quick rail clamp and the rail locating keys supplied in the box.
