The Streamlight TLR-7 X sub in part number 69400 is a subcompact rail light machined specifically for the Glock 43X MOS, 48 MOS, 43X Rail and 48 Rail.
Slim-frame pistols have a shorter, narrower rail than a full-size gun, so a light for them has to be cut for that rail rather than clamped onto it and hoped for.
On the CR123A lithium cell supplied it gives 550 lumens and 5,000 candela for a 141 metre beam, running 1.5 hours; on Streamlight's SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack, bought separately for this part number, it rises to 725 lumens and 7,700 candela for 176 metres over one hour. The body is anodised machined aluminium rated IPX7 for immersion to one metre for thirty minutes, 2.51 in (6.38 cm) long and 2.39 oz with the CR123A or 2.64 oz with the SL-B9.
Switching is by ambidextrous rear paddles set up for high and low, giving momentary and constant-on from either hand, with a safe-off setting and a strobe the user can enable or leave disabled. Because it is a dedicated fitment, it will not transfer to another host: a Hellcat or a P365 needs the version cut for that pistol.
It is a dedicated fit for the Glock 43X and 48 and their MOS variants, and Streamlight lists no other host for this part number. For a different pistol, the TLR-7 X sub for the SIG P365 and P365 XL and the TLR-7 X sub for the Springfield Hellcat share the same light on different rails, and the 1913 short rail version covers pistols with a cut Picatinny section.
