The Streamlight TLR-8 HL-X G sub, part number 69476, is a subcompact rail-mounted light and green aiming laser cut specifically for the Glock 43X MOS, 48 MOS, 43X Rail and 48 Rail.
Full output and a daylight-visible laser on a frame this slim is the trick here. Nothing hangs past the muzzle and nothing needs an adapter to sit square.
On the SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack supplied it produces 1000 lumens and 10,000 candela for a 200 metre beam, running 30 minutes at full output or an hour at 500 lumens; on a CR123A lithium cell it gives 500 lumens and 5,000 candela for 141 metres over 1.5 hours. The green laser runs at 510-530 nm, is rated Class 3R with an output below 5 mW, and lasts 10 hours on its own. The anodised aluminium body is 2.51 in long, weighs 2.87 oz with the pack or 2.77 oz with a cell, and is rated IPX4.
Ambidextrous high and low rear paddles give momentary and constant-on operation, with a safe-off setting and a user-enabled strobe, and the light selects white only, laser only, or both together. Green is the sensible laser colour outdoors, because the eye picks it up far more readily than red in daylight. Two limits worth knowing: the 1000 lumen figure belongs to the rechargeable pack, not to a CR123A, and IPX4 is splash resistance rather than an immersion rating.
It is a dedicated fitment, so it belongs on the Glock 43X and 48 in MOS or Rail form and on frames carrying that same sub-rail.
