The Streamlight TLR-8 X sub, part 69411, is a subcompact rail-mounted light and red aiming laser built specifically for the Glock 43X MOS, 48 MOS, 43X Rail and 48 Rail.
Two aiming aids in a body 2.51in long, and no adapter or shim anywhere in the chain — because this part number is cut for the sub-rail on those four slides rather than clamped onto it.
White output is 500 lumens and 5,000 candela for a 141 metre beam, and Streamlight give the same figures on either fuel. The laser is red at 640-660 nm, Class 3R with an output below 5 mW. Runtime is 1.5 hours on the CR123A lithium cell supplied or 1 hour on an SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack, and running the laser on its own stretches that to 60 hours on a CR123A or 36 hours on an SL-B9. The light weighs 2.77 oz on a CR123A and 2.87 oz with the SL-B9 pack.
Ambidextrous high and low rear paddles give momentary and constant-on with a safe-off position, and there is a user-enabled strobe if you want one. The mode selector covers light only, laser only, or both together, which is what makes the 60-hour laser figure genuinely useful. The fitment is the thing to check before ordering: this is the Glock 43X and 48 version, and other rails in the range take their own part number.
