The numbered models look impenetrable until you read them as a code, and then a listing like HE507C X2 tells you everything. The two opening letters give the emitter: HS is the standard red or gold version, HE the green one. The number sets the body and feature tier — 407 is the single-dot model, 507 the same size with a switchable reticle, 508T and 509T are the enclosed titanium sights, and 510C and 512T are the large open-window rifle bodies. The letter after it is the fit: C is the full-size pattern used on duty slides, K the smaller pattern for slim carry slides, T titanium, COMP the competition version with a big dot. X2 and X3 mark the generation, and RONIN is the upgraded-finish line of an existing model.

The named families are organised by what they are for. EPS, EPS Carry and EPS CORE are the enclosed pistol sights, with Carry sized for slim slides and CORE stripping the model back. SCS is the solar-charging line, and each version is cut for one specific pistol — MOS, PDP, P10, VP9, MP2, 320 and Carry — so it drops straight onto that slide without a plate. AEMS is the enclosed rifle micro in Micro, Macro, PRO and EVO sizes, with ARO EVO the smaller rifle option and its SPR variant carrying a ranging reticle. Three features recur across all of them and are worth understanding once: Solar Failsafe puts a panel on the hood that runs the sight if the cell dies, Shake Awake wakes the emitter on movement and shuts it down when the rifle is still so it can simply be left on, and the Multi-Reticle System switches between a plain dot, a surrounding circle and both together.
