The BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 is a drop-in pistol grip for AR-15 and M4 rifles, fitting any standard AR-15/M4 lower receiver on the supplied mounting hardware.
The Gunfighter grip stripped back — Mod 4 keeps the ergonomics and deletes the weight.
The BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 Grip is Bravo Company USA's updated interpretation of the classic A1 and A2 grip shapes. It carries the reduced angle that suits a modern squared stance, an extended forward tang that closes the gap between trigger guard and grip, and a high-rise beavertail-style back strap that indexes the hand high on the receiver. What is new is the texture: a more aggressive, ultra-tactile surface for exacting fire control ergonomics in the wet, the cold or in gloves.
The Mod 4 uses an open bottom to minimise weight, so unlike the Mod 1, Mod 2 and Mod 3 there is no storage compartment — this is the lightest, plainest grip in the Gunfighter range and the one to pick if you never carried anything in a grip anyway. Manufactured in the USA from high-quality impact-resistant polymers, with mounting hardware for Mil-Spec lower receivers included.
Fits standard AR-15/M4-pattern lower receivers as a drop-in replacement for the factory pistol grip, including UK straight-pull AR-15 builds — grip geometry does the same work whether the rifle cycles itself or you cycle it by hand. Mounting hardware for Mil-Spec lower receivers is included. Watch the safety selector detent and spring that sit in the receiver under the old grip when you lift it clear; work over a tray and it is a five-minute job. If you want a compartment in the grip instead, the Gunfighter Mod 3 has a gasketed trap door.

The only thing to watch is the safety selector detent and spring under the old grip, which are easy to lose.
No. The Mod 4 uses an open bottom to minimise weight, so there is no compartment and no cap. If you want storage in the grip, the <a href="/products/bcm-gunfighter-mod-3-pistol-grip">Gunfighter Mod 3</a> has a hinged trap door with a water-resistant gasket and the <a href="/products/bcm-gunfighter-mod-2-pistol-grip">Gunfighter Mod 2</a> has a locking cap.
It is Bravo Company USA's updated take on the classic A1 and A2 shapes, with a new ultra-tactile texture that is noticeably more aggressive than the seamless texture on the earlier Mods, plus the open bottom. The reduced angle, extended forward tang and high-rise beavertail carry over. In the hand it is the lightest and plainest of the range.
Black and Flat Dark Earth are both offered, so you can match a stock and handguard. Nothing else is needed to fit it beyond a hex key for the supplied screw. Grip feel is very personal, so it is worth handling a few shapes if you can before committing to a set across the rifle.
