The BCM RSM-1913 is a quick-detach sling mount for AR-15 and M4 rifles, clamping to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail.
Seven-sixteenths of an inch tall, machined from steel, and locked in eight positions — a rail sling point that stays exactly where you put it.
Clamp-on rail accessories have a reputation for creeping, and a sling mount is the worst place for that to happen because it carries the entire weight of the rifle every time the rifle hangs. Bravo Company USA's answer is a non-rotational locking interface with eight indexed positions, engaging two lugs and a single 1913 slot. Once torqued, the socket cannot rotate around the rail and the mount cannot walk along it.
The body is machined entirely from steel and stands just 7/16 in (11 mm) proud of the rail, so it adds a sling point without adding a handful. A hex wrench is supplied for fitting.
Fits any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail with a free slot — a quad rail, a rail ladder on a free-float tube, or a Picatinny section added to an M-LOK handguard — on AR-15/M4 rifles including UK straight-pull AR-15 builds. It needs two lugs and one slot to seat correctly, so leave that much rail clear where you intend to mount it. If your handguard is M-LOK and you would rather not add a rail section first, the BCM MCMR QD Sling Mount attaches directly to M-LOK instead. A push-button QD swivel is required and is sold separately.

Two lugs and one 1913 slot. That is a small footprint, so it will fit on a short rail ladder as well as a full-length quad rail, but you do need that much clear space at the point you want the sling to attach.
No. The mount supplies the socket and the swivel is a separate part. Either the <a href="/products/bcm-qd-sling-swivel-heavy-duty">heavy duty QD sling swivel</a> for 1-1/4 inch slings or the <a href="/products/bcm-qd-sling-swivel-1-inch-d-ring">1 inch D-ring version</a> will click straight in.
Only if you first add a Picatinny rail section, such as the <a href="/products/bcm-3-inch-picatinny-rail-section-m-lok">BCM 3 inch Picatinny Rail Section</a>. If you would rather not add a rail, the <a href="/products/bcm-mcmr-qd-sling-mount-m-lok">BCM MCMR QD Sling Mount</a> bolts directly into M-LOK slots and does the same job.
Yes. It clamps to the rail and has nothing to do with how the rifle is cycled, so it fits straight-pull AR-15 builds exactly as it fits any other 1913 rail.
