The BCM Vertical Grip Short is a compact vertical foregrip with an internal storage compartment for AR-15 and M4 rifles, clamping to any 1913 Picatinny rail section.
The short vertical grip that carries something — storage volume inside, spring-loaded clamps outside.
The BCM Vertical Grip SHORT keeps the low-profile length that makes a stubby grip worth having — increased mobility and a decreased snag factor — while using the volume inside the body as a compartmentalised storage space. A spare battery, a bore snake, small parts: things you would otherwise leave in a pouch stay on the rifle. The forward angle increases the rigidity of the forearm while providing a more natural wrist angle, and the grip can be mounted in reverse to increase control when you grab handguard and grip together.
Flat sides with aggressive texture give better yaw control, so the rifle does not roll in the hand under recoil. The mounting is the other thoughtful part: spring-loaded clamps make installation and removal easier, the clamps themselves are reversible so the fastener can sit on whichever side suits your build, and the cross bolt is designed to work with improvised tools — a coin will turn it if the Torx driver is at home. Made in the U.S.A. from high-quality impact-resistant polymers.
This is the 1913 Picatinny version. It clamps to any Picatinny rail section — a quad rail, or a rail ladder fitted to a free-float tube — and it will not fit an M-LOK handguard directly. Bravo Company USA also builds a KeyMod Vertical Grip SHORT at a different price, so check that you are ordering the interface your handguard actually has: a ladder of square teeth is Picatinny. Mount it where your support hand naturally falls when the rifle is shouldered, then re-check the clamps after the first outing. It suits a UK straight-pull AR-15 as readily as any other AR-pattern build — and on a rifle worked by hand for every shot, spares living inside the grip rather than in a pocket is a genuinely practical thing. Check your handguard before ordering: a ladder of square teeth is Picatinny. It will not fit an M-LOK handguard directly.
