The Daniel Defense AR-15 Pistol Grip is a drop-in pistol grip with an integral oversized trigger guard for AR-15 and M4 rifles, fitting standard AR-15/M4 lower receivers.

The Daniel Defense AR-15 Pistol Grip integrates an oversized trigger guard directly into the grip body, eliminating the gap, the roll pin fiddling and the misalignment risk of separate components. The enlarged guard gives gloved fingers genuine working room — a cold-climate and duty-use detail most furniture ignores — while the soft-touch overmould keeps the hand planted and comfortable through long sessions.
Grip angle and palm swell follow Daniel Defense's rifle-proven ergonomics for natural trigger reach, and the whole unit is made in the USA. One part, two upgrades, zero compromises. It is offered in three Daniel Defense furniture colours: Black, Mil Spec +® and Daniel Defense Tornado®.
Fits standard AR-15/M4-pattern lower receivers, replacing both the factory grip and the factory trigger guard in one piece. The mounting screw and washer are supplied and no roll pin is required, so it is a simple bench job with an ordinary hex key. If your lower has an integral or already-enlarged trigger guard, check for clearance before ordering, and retain the safety detent and spring during the swap.

Because the trigger guard is integral to the grip, you fit it in place of both the standard grip and the factory trigger guard, and the kit includes the mounting screw and washer with no roll pin required. If your lower has an integral or already-enlarged trigger guard, check for clearance before ordering.
The oversized integral guard gives more room for a gloved finger and removes the gap that normally sits between the grip and the standard guard, which is a common pinch point. It also means one fewer part to work loose. The trade-off is that you are committing to this guard shape rather than being able to mix and match.
It uses a polymer core with a soft-touch overmould, so it has more give and friction than a bare polymer grip. That helps with control in the wet and takes some vibration out of the hold. The finish is matte black, Mil Spec +® or Daniel Defense Tornado®, and it is made in the USA.
No, the mounting screw and washer are supplied, and the design avoids the roll pin that a separate trigger guard would use. You will need an ordinary hex key and should take care to retain the safety detent and spring during the swap.
