The EOTech G33 in Tan is a fixed 3x magnifier supplied on EOTech's Switch-to-Side quick-detach mount, so it arrives ready to bolt behind a holographic or red dot sight.
A magnifier has no reticle of its own; it enlarges whatever the sight in front of it is already showing you, which is how one optic covers both close targets and a 200 yard gong.
EOTech gives the magnifier 2.2 in (56 mm) of eye relief and a length of 4 in (102 mm), with the complete unit on its STS mount weighing 10.6 oz (300 g). Windage and elevation adjust so the magnified image can be brought onto the sight's reticle, and the finish is Tan to match tan-bodied sights and furniture.
The reason to pay for the STS mount rather than a fixed one is speed: a push swings the magnifier out of the line of sight and leaves the host optic at 1x, without unclamping anything or disturbing the sight. Two things to be aware of — eye relief on a 3x magnifier is much less forgiving than on a red dot, so head position matters more, and the extra 10.6 oz sits behind the optic where it is felt.
It sits behind a red dot or holographic sight on a Picatinny rail, with the sight setting the height and the magnifier following it.
