The EOTech Vudu 1-6x24 in this configuration, part number VDU1-6FFSR3, is a first focal plane low-power variable rifle scope with the illuminated SR3 MOA reticle, a 24 mm objective and a 30 mm main tube.
The SR3 is the MOA reticle in the Vudu 1-6x24 range, laid out with ballistic drop references rather than a plain crosshair — so holdover is read off the glass instead of counted on the turret.
EOTech places the reticle in the first focal plane, which is what keeps those drop references honest: they grow and shrink with the image, so a mark that is correct at 6x is still correct at 3x. Illumination runs from a single CR2032 cell. The scope is 10.63 in (270 mm) long, weighs 20.1 oz (570 g) and is made in Japan.
EOTech lists the SR3's drop references for .223 Rem and .308 Win, so a 5.56 carbine shooter gets usable holds straight out of the box. True 1x at the bottom of the range keeps the scope usable with both eyes open on close targets, and 6x is enough magnification to make a distant one worth shooting at. EOTech does not publish a click value or a total adjustment range for this model, so neither figure is quoted here — budget your mount height and rings accordingly.
The 30 mm tube needs 30 mm rings or a 30 mm cantilever mount on a flat-top AR-pattern upper or straight-pull receiver. Shooting in milliradians instead? The Vudu 1-6x24 with the SR1 MRAD reticle is the same scope in MRAD, and the Vudu 1-6x24 with the SR2 reticle is the 7.62 layout. For more magnification, the LPVO rifle scopes collection includes the 1-10x28 Vudus.
