The Holosun HE407C X3 (HE407C-X3-GR) is a 1x open-emitter sight with a single 2 MOA green dot, built on the Holosun 507C footprint, which is the Trijicon RMR pattern.
One uncluttered aiming point in green — no circle, no clutter, and a colour the eye picks up more readily than red at the same output.
The X3 housing is 7075-T6 aluminium rated IP67 for dust and immersion, weighing 1.5 oz (43 g) with a 0.91 x 0.63 in window, and measuring 1.78 x 1.15 x 1.15 in overall. Its light sensor faces forward, so automatic brightness is set by the light falling on the target rather than the light behind the shooter. A CR1632 sits in a side-loading tray, rated for up to 100,000 hours on setting six, with Solar Failsafe as supplemental power, Shake Awake and Lock Mode.
Green suits woodland, hedgerows and low light, where a red dot can wash into a dark background — and it is easier to see for shooters with a mild red-green colour deficiency. The single 2 MOA dot is deliberate: nothing surrounds it, so nothing competes with it on a small target. Adjustment is 1 MOA per click across plus or minus 50 MOA. Illumination runs to twelve settings, eight of them for daylight and four for use behind a night vision device.
RMR-cut hosts and optics-ready pistols supplied with an RMR-pattern adapter plate. The previous generation on the same footprint and cell is the HE407C X2, a 6 MOA green dot in a competition body is the HE407COMP, and the switchable circle-dot in green is the HE509T X2.
