The Holosun HS507 ProMax in gold, part number HS507-PROMAX-GD-PRS, is a 1x open reflex competition pistol sight on the Trijicon RMR footprint with the Performance Reticle System.
A gold emitter reads as warm amber rather than red, and that is exactly the difference that keeps an aiming point visible against red-painted steel and orange plates.
The window measures 1.18 x 0.98 in behind a forward-leaning integrated sunshade that keeps low sun off the glass, in a 7075-T6 aluminium housing rated IP67 and measuring 1.8 x 1.4 x 1.38 in at 1.7 oz. A CR1632 sits in a side-loading tray rated to 50,000 hours at setting 6, supported by Solar Failsafe drawing on ambient light, with Shake Awake and a Lockout Mode that stops settings being knocked between stages.
The Performance Reticle System offers a 2 MOA gold dot alone or 8, 20 and 32 MOA circles, so the reticle can be sized to the stage instead of fixed at purchase. Twelve brightness settings split eight daylight and four night-vision compatible, and adjustment is 1 MOA per click across plus or minus 30 MOA. The wide window and the sunshade both add bulk, so if a slim optic that disappears on the slide matters more than a fast, uncluttered sight picture, this is not the model to choose.
It fits slides cut for the Trijicon RMR and optics-ready pistols supplied with an RMR-pattern adapter plate. The same optic in red is the HS507 ProMax red, the simpler competition body without the sunshade is the HS507COMP gold, and the everyday standard-size alternative is the HS507C X3 gold.
