The Magpul MVG (MOE Vertical Grip, MAG597) attaches straight to any M-LOK handguard or forend, giving you a positive, repeatable hand stop and a comfortable vertical hold without the bulk of a rail-and-adaptor setup. The compact body keeps weight and length down while the MOE TSP texture delivers grip in the wet, in gloves, and under recoil.
It is the simple, proven answer for shooters who want a vertical reference point on a modern M-LOK forend: bolt it on, set your hand, and shoot.
Mounts directly to any M-LOK-compatible handguard or forend using the supplied M-LOK hardware — no Picatinny rail or adaptor required. Handguards that are Picatinny-only or use a different slot standard will not take it, so check what your forend actually is before ordering. Position it where your support hand naturally falls and torque the hardware. If an angled hold suits you better, the same M-LOK mount is used by the AFG angled fore grip, and the SVG short vertical grip is the shorter hand-stop version.

You also want a free M-LOK slot at the point where your support hand naturally falls, so plan around any light or laser already on the forend. No Picatinny rail or adaptor is needed.
It gives your support hand a positive, repeatable place to sit, so your hold is the same every time you bring the rifle up rather than drifting along the handguard. That consistency is what makes the difference under recoil and between targets. The MOE TSP texture keeps that hold positive in the wet and in gloves, and the compact body adds the reference point without much weight or bulk.
The MVG is the direct-mount M-LOK version of the same idea as the <a href="/products/magpul-rvg-rail-vertical-foregrip-mag412">RVG</a>, which needs a Picatinny rail instead — pick by what your forend is. Yes — the M-LOK mounting hardware, T-nuts and screws, is supplied. You position the grip where your support hand indexes, drop the T-nuts into the slot, turn them and torque the screws. There is no permanent change to the handguard, and it is worth re-checking the screws after the first range trip.
