The SIG Sauer ROMEO-X Pro in green, part number SORX1090, is a 1x24 open reflex pistol sight on the DeltaPoint Pro footprint, with a single 6 MOA green dot.
Six MOA of green is about as easy as an aiming point gets to find in a hurry, which is the entire brief for a sight like this.
The housing is CNC machined 7075 aluminium, rated waterproof to 10 m under IPX-7, and the glass is a distortion-free aspherical lens. Illumination runs across 15 settings, three of them for night vision, and the sight wakes on movement through MOTAC with MAGNETAC also fitted. Power is a CR1632 cell, which SIG rates at 20,000 hours of runtime.
A large dot buys speed at close range and costs precision at distance: the trade is real, and if most of your shooting is deliberate rather than fast, the finer reticles in the range are the better fit. The footprint is the other thing to get right — this is a DeltaPoint Pro pattern optic, so it needs a DPP-cut slide or a DPP adapter plate. Confirm which cut your slide carries before ordering, because plates vary between production runs.
It mounts to any slide cut for the DeltaPoint Pro pattern, or to an optic-ready pistol using a DPP plate. For a finer aiming point on the same body, the ROMEO-X Pro with the 2 MOA and 32 MOA green circle-dot gives a switchable reticle instead, and the identical sight with a red emitter is the ROMEO-X Pro 6 MOA in red. The rest sit in green dot sights.
