The SIG Sauer ROMEO8T-AMR and JULIET3T-AMR Combo Kit pairs a 1x enclosed red dot sight carrying the Quad Ballistic Circle Dot 2.0 AMR reticle with a matched 3x magnifier, part number SORJ8T101.
The two halves are designed around each other: the AMR reticle is drawn to stay crisp when it is viewed through the magnifier rather than smearing the way a coarse dot does.
The sight has a 20 mm clear aperture behind what SIG markets as a 40 mm lens, mounts to M1913 and sits at 1.41 in absolute co-witness height. The magnifier rides a Powercam90 quick-release mount. Both are sealed to IPX-8 and tested to MIL-STD-810, and the pair weighs 19.2 oz together.
Push the magnifier aside on the Powercam90 lever and you are back at 1x without taking anything off the rifle, which is the practical difference between a combo and a scope. Illumination covers 15 settings, twelve daylight and three night-vision compatible, with MOTAC waking the sight on movement, and one CR123 cell is rated at 50,000 hours. SIG does not publish an objective diameter for the magnifier, so no figure is given here.
Both halves clamp to a MIL-STD-1913 rail, so the kit suits a flat-top AR-pattern receiver or straight-pull upper with enough rail behind the sight for the magnifier.
