The SIG Sauer TANGO-MSR 1-6x24 in this listing, part number SOTM61002, is the first focal plane model with the illuminated MSR BDC6 reticle and an ALPHA-MSR cantilever mount supplied with it.
First focal plane is the reason to pick this one. The BDC6 grows and shrinks with the magnification, so a holdover that is right at 6x is still right at 3x.
It is built on a 30 mm tube in aluminium with a black finish, 10.4 in (264 mm) long and 18.5 oz (525 g), with a dioptre range of plus or minus 2.5. Illumination has 11 settings and runs from a CR2032 cell. Windage and elevation move in 0.5 MOA clicks with 100 MOA available on each axis and 44 MOA of travel per rotation.
Field of view runs from 124.8 ft at 1x down to 19.6 ft at 6x at 100 yards, and eye relief is 3.93 in (100 mm) at low power and 3.74 in (95 mm) at high, which is generous enough to be forgiving on a gas gun. The mount in the box means the scope goes on a flat-top receiver without a separate purchase, though a cantilever is a fixed height, so anyone with a firm view about deck height will want to source a mount of their own choosing. SIG do not publish a parallax setting for this model, so we do not quote one.
The included cantilever mount is made for a flat-top receiver with a MIL-STD-1913 top rail, which covers most AR-pattern and straight-pull builds. If you want a second focal plane reticle instead, the SFP TANGO-MSR 1-6x24 is the alternative, and for more magnification the 1-10x26 with the BDC10 reaches further. More of the range sits in LPVO rifle scopes.
