The Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount HP in this listing is part number 89013, the light-only package, producing 2000 lumens and 85,000 candela on high.
That candela figure is the whole reason the HP exists: it packs the same output into a tight hotspot that carries 583 metres, where the standard model spreads it into a wider, closer beam.
A 250 lumen low mode gives 11,500 candela and 214 metres for close work, and runtimes are 2.5 hours on high, 11 hours on low and 4.5 hours in strobe. Power comes from one SL-B50 4,900 mAh USB-C rechargeable lithium-ion pack, supplied with a charging cord. The body is Type II MIL-spec anodised aluminium rated IP67 — dust-tight and waterproof to 1 metre for 30 minutes — measuring 6.30 in (16.0 cm) and weighing 9.06 oz (257 g). It is TEN-TAP programmable.
This configuration is operated from the tail cap. There is no remote pressure switch in the box, which keeps the package simple and the cost down but means no pad on the handguard; if you want one, the sibling part number supplies it. An M-LOK mount is included and the light fits MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails.
An M-LOK mount is supplied and the light also fits MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails, so it goes on most modern handguards without extra parts. If you want the remote pressure switch included, the ProTac 2.0 HP with remote switch is the same light with the switch package; for a wider beam with more spill the standard ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount gives 17,700 candela. Our M-LOK and Picatinny guide covers which mount your handguard takes.
