The Streamlight TLR-7 X, part 69424, is a compact rail-mounted handgun light measuring 2.58 in (6.55 cm), supplied here with a CR123A lithium cell.
Multi-fuel is the selling point: the same light gives 550 lumens on the CR123A in the box and 725 on an SL-B9 rechargeable pack, so you choose the fuel instead of choosing a different model.
On a CR123A it produces 550 lumens, 7,200 candela and a 170 metre beam for 1.5 hours, weighing 2.48 oz. On an SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack it produces 725 lumens, 9,500 candela and 195 metres for 1 hour, at 2.64 oz. The housing is anodised machined aluminium rated IPX7, and it mounts on a rail clamp system with a locating key kit supplied.
The rear paddles are ambidextrous and interchangeable between high and low profiles, so the switch height can be matched to the grip and the trigger finger rather than the other way round. What to be clear on before ordering: the SL-B9 pack is not included in this package, so 69424 runs the 550 lumen figures out of the box — the factory rechargeable bundle is the TLR-7 X USB.
The rail clamp and key kit cover a wide range of rail-equipped compact and full-size handguns. The same light supplied with the SL-B9 pack and cord is the TLR-7 X USB in black, the tan version of that package is the TLR-7 X USB in FDE, and short-rail subcompacts are covered by the TLR-7 X sub for 1913 short rails.
