The Streamlight TLR RM 1 HL-X USB System, part 69483, is a compact single-cell long gun light supplied as a complete kit with its remote pressure switch, key kit and mounting hardware.
System is the word that matters in the part number. Everything needed to get the light onto a rail and switched from a handguard is in the box, so there is no second order and no guessing which tail cap fits.
On the SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack supplied it gives 1,000 lumens and 22,000 candela for a 297 metre beam, running 30 minutes at that output. Fitted instead with a CR123A lithium cell it produces 500 lumens and 11,000 candela for 210 metres, and holds that for 1.5 hours. The body is 3.64in long and weighs 3.12 oz with the SL-B9 pack or 3.02 oz on a CR123A, clamps to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny, and is rated IPX7 for a metre of immersion for half an hour.
The push-button tail switch and the remote pressure switch operate independently, which is the detail that keeps a light usable after a pressure pad gets crushed or a cable is torn off a handguard in the field. That redundancy, plus the small single-cell body, makes it a sensible choice on a carbine, a straight-pull rifle or a practical shotgun. Be clear about the fuel, though: the 1,000 lumen figure belongs to the rechargeable pack, and a CR123A halves it.
It clamps to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny section, which covers AR-pattern carbines, straight-pull builds and railed shotgun forends.
