The Streamlight TLR RM 2 (69451) is a low-profile two-cell long gun light in the Light Only package, with a push-button tail switch and no remote pad.
Full output from primary cells and a body that stays out of the way: 1000 lumens and 22,000 candela reaching 297 metres, for an hour and a half.
Two CR123A lithium cells are supplied and sit in a body 4.97 in long weighing 4.68 oz complete. The light mounts directly to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny using the key kit in the box, and is rated IPX7 for one metre over thirty minutes. Strobe runs for three hours.
The Light Only package is the one to buy if the tail switch is where your thumb already goes, or if the rifle is short enough that a cable would be in the way. Nothing is lost by starting here: the light is compatible with Streamlight's optional TLR remote switches, so a pressure pad can be added later without replacing the light. If you want the remote in the box from the start, the System package is the other option.
Any long gun with a Picatinny rail section — AR-pattern carbines, straight-pull rifles and shotguns with a rail forend. To have the remote pressure switch supplied in the box, the TLR RM 2 System is the same light in a fuller package; adding a red or green aiming laser gives the TLR RM 2 Laser or the TLR RM 2 Laser-G.
