The Timney Calvin Elite is a complete single-stage drop-in trigger assembly for the Ruger 10/22, replacing the factory trigger-guard group entirely.
Timney's flagship single-stage, scaled to the 10/22 — the Calvin Elite makes the classic rimfire feel custom-built.
The Timney Calvin Elite for the Ruger 10/22 (1022CE) is a complete drop-in trigger assembly carrying the flagship Calvin Elite single-stage pull: light, glass-crisp and repeatable, designed by trigger maker Calvin Motley. Because it replaces the entire trigger group, the unit arrives fully calibrated — no fitting, no tuning, no variables.
The 10/22's accuracy potential routinely outruns its factory trigger; the Calvin Elite removes that ceiling. For rimfire sporters, NRL22 trainers and box-stock classics alike, it is among the most transformative upgrades the platform can take.
Fits Ruger 10/22 rifles as a complete drop-in replacement for the factory trigger-guard assembly — two pins out, swap the group in, function-check, done. This is a rimfire trigger group for the 10/22 action only; it has no application to AR-pattern rifles. Complete full function and safety checks before live fire.

Yes, it's a complete replacement for the 10/22 factory trigger assembly, so the original unit comes out as a whole and this takes its place. That keeps fitting simple and avoids working on individual sear components. If your rifle is a 10/22 pattern clone rather than a genuine Ruger, contact us to check first.
Because the housing, sear and shoe are all supplied together and set up as a unit, the result doesn't depend on how well the original parts have worn. It's the Calvin Elite 1022CE, made in the USA, and it's a single-stage design that breaks in one movement. That suits general shooting and plinking as well as target work.
The Calvin Elite shoe adjusts for reach and position, so you can bring it closer or further away and shift it to line up with your finger. That's worth taking time over, since a shoe in the wrong place undoes much of the benefit of a good trigger. Function-check the rifle carefully once you've settled on a position.
This single-stage version is the simpler feel: press and it breaks. The <a href="/products/timney-calvin-elite-two-stage-trigger-ruger-10-22">two-stage Calvin Elite</a> adds a take-up stage and a wall, which suits deliberate target shooting. Both are complete assemblies and need no extra parts.
The assembly is dispatched from the United Kingdom with £5 tracked UK delivery in 7–10 business days, and you'll get tracking by email at dispatch. If it turns out not to fit your rifle, see our returns policy or <a href="/pages/contact">contact us</a> and we'll help sort it.
