It is a drop-in fit for AR-15 and M4 pattern lowers using mil-spec trigger pins. Large-pin receivers are not compatible, so check your pin size before ordering. Beyond that, no receiver work is needed — it goes in as a complete cassette.
TriggerTech's mechanism uses a free-floating roller between the sear surfaces instead of two faces sliding across each other, which is why they describe it as zero creep. What you feel is a break with no perceptible movement or drag before the shot goes. It also stays consistent as the trigger gets used, since there is far less rubbing to wear surfaces in.
This one is a two-stage trigger with tool-less adjustment from 2.5 to 5 lb (1.1–2.3 kg), so you can change the weight without stripping the unit or hunting for an Allen key. Set it, then function-check the rifle thoroughly before use. Two-stage means you take up the first stage, hold at the wall, and press through a defined second stage to fire.
The finish is cosmetic rather than functional — this model comes in silver, and other trigger bodies in the range come in black, PVD black or stainless if you want a different look inside the receiver. Choose on the mechanism and pull weight first, then the colour.
