The Primary Arms SLx 1X MicroPrismT, part 710079, is a 1x prism scope with the ACSS Cyclops Gen II reticle etched into the glass and illuminated in red, built on the H1/T1 micro-dot footprint.
An etched reticle is resolved through the same corrected optical path as the target, so the shooters who see an LED dot as a smear, a comet or a double image get a clean horseshoe instead. That is the reason this optic exists.
Because the reticle is etched rather than projected, it stays fully usable with the illumination switched off or the cell flat — the light is an enhancement, not the aiming point. Primary Arms describe the illumination as partial and night-vision compatible, powered by a CR2032 3V lithium coin cell they rate at 29,000 hours. Turrets move 1 MOA per click, with 120 MOA of elevation and 120 MOA of windage travel. The finish is black.
The H1/T1 footprint is the practical advantage: mounts made for micro red dots are everywhere, so an existing base will very often carry this straight across without buying anything new. One honest note on figures. Primary Arms do not publish an objective diameter, field of view, length, weight or sealing rating for this model on their own product page, and do not state a mount as included, so we quote none of those — confirm the mount you have before ordering.
Anything cut for the H1/T1 micro-dot pattern will take it, which is the majority of micro red dot mounts on the market — see optic mounts if you need one, and our optic mount height guide for choosing the deck height. The same optic comes with green Cyclops Gen II illumination, with a simpler T-Dot reticle and with the ACSS Gemini 9mm reticle. For magnification, the SLx 3X MicroPrism is the next step.
