The SIG Sauer TANGO-MSR 1-6x24 in Coyote Tan, part number SOTM61200, is a low-power variable rifle scope with the illuminated MSR BDC6 reticle in the second focal plane and a 30 mm main tube.
It arrives ready to bolt on. SIG include the ALPHA-MSR cantilever mount in the box, set at AR height for a Picatinny flat-top, so there are no rings to choose and nothing else to buy before it can be zeroed.
The scope is 10.4 in long and weighs 18.5 oz (525 g). Turrets are capped and adjust in 0.5 MOA increments, so a zero stays put under a cover rather than being exposed to the world, and reticle illumination runs from a CR2032 cell.
A second focal plane reticle holds one apparent size through the zoom range, which keeps the BDC6 aiming marks legible at 1x where an FFP reticle would shrink away — the trade is that the subtensions are only true at the stated magnification. At 1x it works like a red dot for close targets; at 6x it identifies and holds over at distance. That makes it a natural fit for Civilian Service Rifle, practical rifle and straight-pull carbines, and the coyote tan finish matches tan furniture.
With the ALPHA-MSR mount supplied it fits any MIL-STD-1913 flat-top receiver directly; if you would rather use your own rings, they need to be 30 mm. The same scope is stocked in black, with a first focal plane version as the TANGO-MSR FFP and more magnification in the 1-8x24. Browse all LPVO rifle scopes.
