The Streamlight TLR-7 X USB in black, part 69455, is a compact rail-mounted handgun light just 2.58 in long, supplied with the SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack that takes it to 725 lumens.
Multi-fuel is the point: the same light runs a rechargeable pack or a primary cell, so it can be charged like a phone at home and fed a CR123A when charging is not an option.
On the SL-B9 pack it produces 725 lumens and 9,500 candela for a 195 metre beam over one hour, weighing 2.64 oz. On a CR123A lithium cell it gives 550 lumens and 7,200 candela for 170 metres over 1.5 hours, at 2.48 oz. The housing is anodised machined aluminium rated IPX7, and it mounts on a rail clamp system with a locating key kit supplied.
Rear paddle switches are ambidextrous and interchangeable between high and low profiles, so the reach can be matched to your grip and trigger finger rather than the other way round. Set expectations on runtime: an hour on the rechargeable pack at full output is normal for a light this size, and the trade for the slim body is less reach than a full-size light.
The rail clamp system and its locating keys cover a wide range of rail-equipped compact and full-size handguns. The identical package in tan is the TLR-7 X USB in FDE; for sub-compact slides the TLR-7 X sub for Glock 43X/48 and the TLR-7 X sub for SIG P365 are cut to the specific rail.
