The Streamlight TLR-9, part 69464, is a slim full-size pistol light in black, supplied with the high rear switch fitted and the low switch in the box.
No laser, no rechargeable pack, no extra modes to remember. This is a thousand lumens on a pistol rail with a switch that fits your hand, and that is the entire proposition.
Output is 1000 lumens and 10,000 candela for a 200-metre beam, running 1.5 hours on the two CR123A lithium cells supplied, with a strobe rated at 3 hours. The body is anodised machined aluminium at 3.87 in (9.83 cm) and 4.26 oz (120.8 g), rated IPX7 for immersion to a metre for half an hour.
Both a high and a low rear switch are supplied, so the paddle height matches your grip and your trigger guard rather than the other way round. A safe-off setting keeps the light from being triggered in a holster or a bag, and the strobe is user-enabled rather than sitting in the normal mode cycle. It clamps to full-size and compact handgun rails with the key kit in the box. Streamlight's current catalogue names this part simply the TLR-9.
