The Streamlight TLR RM 1 in this listing is part number 69441, the light-only package: a low-profile single-cell rail-mounted weapon light producing 500 lumens and 11,000 candela.
At 3.64 in and 3.02 oz it is one of the smallest ways to put a genuine 210-metre beam on a carbine, and it does it on a single CR123A rather than a battery pack.
The cell is included and gives 1.5 hours of light, with a 3-hour strobe. Activation is by the push-button tail switch, and Streamlight's optional TLR remote switches are supported if you decide you want a pressure pad later. It mounts directly to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails using the key kit supplied in the box, and the light is rated IPX7 — waterproof to 1 metre for 30 minutes.
This is the package for a lightweight build where the light should not dominate the handguard. Two honest points: the light-only package has no remote switch in the box, so it is thumb-operated from the tail cap unless you add one, and 11,000 candela is a working-distance beam rather than a long-range lamping beam.
It clamps directly to a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail with the key kit supplied, which covers AR-pattern rifles, carbines and rail-fitted shotguns. If you want the remote pressure switch in the box, the TLR RM 1 System supplies it; for an aiming laser as well see the TLR RM 1 Laser-G with a green laser or the TLR RM 1 Laser with a red one.
