The SureFire M340DFT Mini Scout Light Pro Turbo, part number M340DFT-TN-PRO, is a compact rifle light in tan that runs either an SF18350 rechargeable cell or a CR123A primary.
DFT stands for Dual Fuel Turbo, and turbo is the half that matters: the head focuses a modest 650 lumens into 95,000 candela, which is what turns a light this small into a 616 metre beam.
On the SF18350 it gives 650 lumens, 95,000 candela and 616 metres for 45 minutes; on a CR123A primary it gives 350 lumens, 55,000 candela and 469 metres for an hour. Activation is by the ZE68 momentary and constant-on pushbutton tailcap. The body is aluminium with a Mil-Spec hard anodised finish, rated IPX7 to one metre for 30 minutes, 4.8 in (12.2 cm) long with a 1.258 in (3.2 cm) bezel, and 5.11 oz (144.9 g) with a cell fitted.
The supplied low-profile mount fits MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny and M-LOK directly, so it goes onto a short handguard without an adapter stack. Two honest limits: 45 minutes on the rechargeable cell is a short evening, and a turbo head trades spill for reach — if you want a wide flood in this same small body, the M340C is the light to look at instead.
The low-profile mount takes it straight onto MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny or M-LOK, which covers most modern handguards without a separate adapter. The identical light in black is the M340DFT in black, the full-size body with the same turbo beam is the M640DFT in tan, and the wide 500-lumen flood in this size is the M340C in tan.
